What happened to my skin ! Fall Is Here

Updated: May 3, 2020

Seasonal Change & its effect on Skin

As we shift from summer to fall and winter, the days get shorter, weather start to get breezier and temperature and humidity will drop quickly. All of these environmental changes directly effect on our skin.Recent research in the“British Journal of Dermatology”found that climatic factors have the potential to influence skin health. Whether it's cold and dry or hot and humid, an area's climate can really affect the skin all over your body, causing everything from acne breakouts to itchy dry patches. Extremes in weather, both hot and cold, can make some existing skin conditions worse or even cause new ones.Researches show clearly that the skin condition change in cold weather. Both children and adults suffer from red cheeks in the colder weather and even develop skin conditions such as eczema and Rosacea, the level of moisture drop in our skin and we see some textural change in our skin. Now the question is that “is your skin ready for cold season?” In order to get ready for this transition, first we need to make some changes in our skin care routine and make them more intense for winter. We tell our patients to change their products before the weather changes and the best time is when you change your clocks for Daylight Saving Time. On the other hand, receiving proper skin treatments make this transition easier for our skin. At Laser Health & Glamour clinic we give you a complimentary consultation to help you to find the best way to adjust your skin with this seasonal transition.
